Solid Curtain/Citadel Shield 2012 is an annual exercise designed to enhance the training and readiness of Navy security forces to respond to threats to installations and units.

fuckyeahusnavy: Members of the fleet survey team perform a break away while conducting formation exercises and coxswain training. The formation is made up of five hydrographic survey vessels and four expeditionary survey vessels. Both types of vessels are equipped with various sonar and global position systems to conduct hydrographic surveys. The hydrographic survey vessels perform safety of navigation surveys in order to create and update nautical charts.

The battalion conducts PT on a regular basis and wanted an opportunity to share with their families what they do as well as promote physical fitness.

Holland presented Providence with the Battle Efficiency award.
